Service in Aruba

 

   My first day in a luxurious hotel began with breakfast. It was a resort all inclusive. It was 7 a.m. when I got up, washed, and I went downstairs to the restaurant for breakfast. A waiter immediately approached to me and offered the menu to me. He appeared to be very talkative and told some history of Aruba. I was surprised when I saw the dishes of various cuisines around the world. For example: Italian, French, Chinese, Indonesian and even Africa. I chose the dishes and began to eat. It’s the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had. The place was beautiful. When I was full, I asked a check and left tips. It was really hard to determine what sum should be as a tip and was wondering if I was right or not. I thought “Well, I have to ask my neighbors on the beach and inquire what should be the sum as a tip”. This place was exactly for my tired body and mood.
   Aruba has gotten many hotels located around the coast, which offer you different tours, entertainment shows and places of interest, and programs on your wallet. The history of Aruba is rather interesting. Well, if your wallet is empty very quickly, you can go to the hotel and watch TV, talk on the phone or go for a walk around the resort. You may be surprised but well-chosen staff in the hotel is speaking three or four languages: English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German… Here you feel so comfortable! You can visit the tennis courts, golf or a bar and restaurant. My first day I actually has spent on the sea shore. Light breeze from the sea was refreshing my nerves and body and reminded me the fact that I was already having a rest. I am not in my office where I have to do routine work and listen to my chef who is a real bore. I don’t believe it and ask my neighbor to pinch my bottom to make my dream a reality. Tomorrow I am planning to get acquainted with local places of interest and know some facts about history of Aruba.
